Ruth is currently Senior Global Partnership Manager at Philips. Before, she was Global Government and Public Affairs manager, focusing on sustainability, access to healthcare and international partnerships. She is sustainability ambassador, director of young Philips and initiator of the Next Gen Advisory Board. Before working at Philips, she was active as coordinator of the UN Youth at the Dutch National Youth Council and chair of the Amsterdam student desk of the Red Cross. She has a passion for global healthcare, politics and culture. Ruth has a BSc in Medical Physics (VU) and Masters in Cardiovascular Research (VU) and Health Care Management (EUR).
