Senior Sustainable Finance Expert and Board Member

Lievijne is a senior expert in the field of sustainable finance. Currently, she is working as Senior Climate Policy Officer at the European Investment Fund (EIF). Before joining the EIF, she worked on the topic at the European Banking Authority, the Dutch Central Bank, the European Central Bank and the Dutch Development Bank. She has also lectured a course on sustainability at Leiden University College. Since 2020, she holds the position of board member at WIFS (Women in Financial Services) the Netherlands. Previously she was board member at the Young SDG Network, part of UN Global Compact the Netherlands. She holds an MSc in Development Management from the London School of Economics and Political Science, a postgraduate degree in Corporate Social Responsibility from Erasmus University Rotterdam, and certificates in Climate & Sustainability Risks from the Global Association of Risks Professionals and in Sustainable Finance and Investments from Harvard University.
